Moorestown Psychiatry in New Jersey is a practice that serves the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults. The practice focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. The following are our services:
Psychiatric Evaluations
Such that Dr. Kapoor can create a comprehensive treatment plan, she must first complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This evaluation is made based on presenting behaviors and takes physical, genetic, environmental, social, cognitive, emotional, and educational factors into consideration. She also needs to consider if other medical conditions are impacting the individual’s current mental health.

Adult evaluations (ages 18-65) are typically 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.

Pediatric evaluations (ages 4-17) are typically between 2 hours and 2 hours and 30 minutes in length. Pediatric sessions can be split into 2 separate sessions over different days.

Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, Selective Mutism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Tic Disorders, Tourette’s Disorder, Psychosis/Schizophrenia, Drug- and Alcohol-Related Issues.
Medication Management
Dr. Kapoor will work with you to ensure that your mental health medications are effective. Medication management follow-up appointments are 30 minutes long, but we do offer an optional 45-minute follow-up appointment.
