About Dr. Kapoor
Ashika Kapoor, MD is a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist practicing in Moorestown, NJ. Dr. Kapoor has a passion for helping others and has devoted her medical career to providing patients with high-quality, evidence-based, personalized healthcare. She is licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

As a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Kapoor brings an integrative approach to medicine to find comfortable and effective solutions for her patients. She will often combine the judicious use of medications with nutritional educational, exercise science, relaxation, and emerging techniques.

Dr. Kapoor completed a seven-year BA/MD medical program at Rutgers University/Rutgers Medical School. She then completed residency training in General Psychiatry at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. Following her residency training, she completed a two year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Additionally, she served as Chief Fellow in her final year and is dually board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Kapoor is also certified in the Conscious Parenting™ Coaching Method.

In addition to running a private practice, Dr. Kapoor is the Medical Director at the Warwick House Residential Treatment Facility and the Medical Director at the Crisis Stabilization Unit at St. Joseph's Villa.

Dr. Kapoor is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA).
